2025 Bedford Carnival Visit Guide

Welcome to the Fair!

The 2025 Bedford County Fair season kicks off with a three-day carnival at Liberty Lake Park, August 22–24, presented in partnership with the Town of Bedford. With free admission, this year’s fair offers something for everyone: thrilling rides, live music, local food vendors, exhibits, and family-friendly programs that highlight Bedford’s small-town tradition.
 

Hours of Operation

  • Friday, August 22: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

  • Saturday, August 23: 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

  • Sunday, August 24: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
     

Parking & Access

Limited on-site parking will be available at Liberty Lake Park. For community convenience, complimentary shuttle service will also run from Bedford Elementary School, making it simple and stress-free to attend.
 

Carnival Midway (Fun Time Amusement)

A full midway of rides for all ages, games, and concessions. Tickets available in $1, $20, and $50 increments (most rides require 3–6 tickets).

Daily Ride Specials:

  • Friday (Opening Night, 4–10 p.m.): $25 unlimited ride armbands

  • Saturday (12–4 p.m.): $25 unlimited ride armbands; after 4 p.m., discounted ticket packs only

  • Sunday (Family Day, 1–6 p.m.): $25 armbands or a Family Four-Pack for $90 (must be purchased together)

Armbands sold until one hour before the end of each session. Military, first responders, and law enforcement (active or retired) receive 10% off ride tickets with ID (limit two discounts per ID per day).
 

Vendors & Food

Explore a variety of local vendors with handmade crafts, goods, and community resources. An exceptional lineup of food vendors will serve classic fair favorites and local specialties all weekend long.
 

Live Entertainment

The Liberty Lake Park stage will feature regional talent all weekend:

  • Friday Evening: Alpha Whiskey

  • Saturday Evening: Tate Tuck

  • Sunday Afternoon: DJ Showtime hosting a Family Block Party
     

Special Programs & Exhibits

  • All Weekend – Old McDonald Farm Tent: Meet farm animals with local 4-H and FFA members, including the always-popular baby duck slide.

  • Friday Evening – Flower Arranging Demonstration: Watch a floral design demonstration and create your own bouquet.

  • Saturday – Community Expo: Area nonprofits and agencies showcase their work.

  • Sunday – Children’s Book Readings: Local authors present free story sessions for kids.
     

Supporting Local Charities

This year, the Bedford County Fair is proud to support local children’s charities. Please bring donations of:

  • Peanut butter (16 oz. and smaller)

  • School supplies such as dry erase markers and pencils

Collection boxes will be available at the fair entrance each day.
 

Agricultural Contests

Traditional fair contests — including canning, baking, photography, woodworking, and more — will be showcased during Centerfest in downtown Bedford on September 20.

The carnival weekend is just the beginning of the 2025 Bedford County Fair season. Mark your calendars for:

  • Livestock & Horse Show: August 30–31 at Allens Mountain

  • Ken Palmer Memorial Scholarship Contest: September 16 at the Bedford Boys Tribute Center

  • Ag Expo: September 20 during Centerfest in downtown Bedford
