About the
Bedford County Fair
The Bedford County Fair is a grassroots event organized by the community for the community. Our mission is to celebrate the rich agricultural history, industry, community, arts, and more. Our 3-day event takes place from August 23 to 25 at 1605 Falling Creek Rd, Bedford, VA. Shuttle locations will be available for easy access to the fair. The event will feature agricultural exhibits, livestock shows, entertainment, and various attractions. Our fair aims to bring the community together and provide a platform for showcasing local talent, produce, and craftsmanship, as well as to showcase various aspects of the region's heritage and culture. Our fair is a free gate event that prioritizes accessibility, inclusivity, and safety for all generations. Join us for a weekend of fun and celebration!

The primary fairgrounds for the Bedford County Fair will be located in the field between the Bedford County Sheriff's Office and the Bedford Regional Water Authority. This central area will host the midway, animal exhibits, and the main stage, providing a hub of activity and entertainment.
Vendors and outdoor exhibits will extend down through the Bedford Regional Water Authority parking lot, leading to a temporary pedestrian crossing that will be maintained by the Bedford County Sheriff's Office for safe and convenient access.
Across the road at the Bedford County Gym, you'll find even more exhibits and demonstrations. The gym itself will be transformed into a contest hall, packed with engaging exhibits and activities for fairgoers of all ages.

Exciting Announcement: Limited On-Site Parking Available!
We are thrilled to announce that limited, first-come, first-served parking will be available on-site beside the Bedford County Sheriff's Office. *Please note that this parking is on grass, so if you prefer paved parking, we recommend utilizing one of our shuttle locations listed below.

Liberty Lake Park
Address: 939 Burks Hill Road
Available: August 23-25, 2024
Details: Liberty Lake Park will be our primary parking area. A free shuttle service will be provided to transport visitors from the park to the fairgrounds.
Westgate Shopping Center
Address: 554 Blue Ridge Avenue
Available: August 23-25, 2024
Details: Courtesy of Blue Ridge Community Church, this location offers ample parking space with a shuttle service to the fairgrounds.
